Where do you see love?

In a familiar face, a small gesture, an unexpected moment—or somewhere you might otherwise overlook?

Rivertown Arts members are invited to submit one photograph per person

for a Community Photography Exhibit on September 26 as the capstone project

of photographer Tony Carosella’s August 20 photography masterclass at Liberty Hall.

Inspired by the theme “Love,” participants are encouraged to capture an image with a camera or cellphone,

then use the filters and adjustments explored in class to bring the photograph to new life.

All submissions will be displayed at Liberty Hall Cultural Center and receive personal feedback from Tony Carosella.

Join us in celebrating the art hidden in everyday moments—and submit your photograph by September 24!

What to Do:

Using your cellphone or camera, look for unexpected moments or images in your everyday life that represent LOVE to you. There is no limit to what you can capture in this exercise. It's totally up to you!
Using camera filters and adjustments, bring elements of your photograph to a new life - highlighting a feature, adjusting the lighting or perspective, etc.
Submit your favorite photo to Rivertown Arts at: Director@rivertownarts.org by September 24.

What to Expect:

Arrive Saturday, September 26 at 12:30 PM to Liberty Hall Cultural Center for a Community Photography Exhibit.

Your photos will be displayed and celebrated, and works will receive personal feedback from Tony Carosella!

Through this shared theme, we are offered a moment to slow down, notice the beauty and meaning in everyday life, and share unique perspectives with others in our community!
