Join Katie Holtmeyer, MA English & Education, and instructor at East Central College, in a poetry workshop for all skill levels. Katie will introduce creative exercises to help participants generate or compose new material for poems. These exercises are designed to focus inherently on fun and/or creative processes, often incorporating play-based, kinesthetic or artistic elements meant to inspire writing. Participants will be able to share and discuss their writing with the group.
